Why choose Yoga SOS?

Yoga SOS is based on Northern Ireland's North Coast and was established by Danielle McCormick as a direct response to the COVID19 pandemic. The aim was to allow people everywhere to remain connected to each other through an online yoga community, reduce social isolation, feelings of loneliness, low mood and anxiety.

  • Remain connected to others through an online community that allows us to remain healthy, strong, calm and mindful during a time of chaos & unrest

  • You can complete the exercises at a time that works for you, in the comfort of your own home

  • You don't need any fancy equipment to take part; all you need is a space, and a towel or blanket is perfect instead of a yoga mat!

  • You don't need any previous yoga experience to get involved; just follow the verbal cues and only do what feels right for your own body

"I am a fully qualified yoga teacher and member of the Yoga Alliance Professionals UK. I have always been focused on personal fitness and well-being, and since my 20's was a regular at local fitness classes, gyms and free weights sessions. I was a late arrival to the yoga scene though when in my 30's, I first decided to give it a try with a view to finding some 'headspace' and in a very short space of time, I really had found my flow. My connection to yoga was so strong that I knew from quite early on that I wanted to teach and share my practice with others and, luckily, everything slowly aligned to allow me to do just that. I genuinely believe that yoga offers something for everyone; whether it is a stretch out to soothe aching muscles; a focus on lengthening tight muscles to keep the body in peak sporting shape; wanting some stimulating bodyweight exercises designed to tone and strengthen or just to allow some time to slow down the mind, I believe that everyone can find what they are looking for and, often, so much more!!
